What is Cerebral Palsy?
Cerebral Palsy is a neurological condition that effects movement and coordination so put basically it means that the part of the brain that tells your body to move or react a certain way doesn’t work like someone who doesn’t have CP. It is a very wide ranging disability that has many different forms and can effect you in anyway from very mildly to a lot more severe.

Causes of Cerebral Palsy.
Premature birth
Lack of oxygen during birth
Bleed in the brain

There are many more causes but I can’t list them all.

Symptoms of Cerebral Palsy
Tightness of muscles
Muscles spasms
Weak muscles
Blanace problems
Poor coordination
Pain or discomfort in muscles

There isn’t any specific cure for CP yet but there is steps you can take to ease or lessen the effects.

How can Cerebral Palsy be treated?
Walking aids e.g walking sticks
Occupational therapy
Speech therapy

CP is not a progressive condition and won’t usually impact on your life expectancy.
